Allowable value of bending radius of power cable. The bending radius of the cable is related to its diameter, and the allowable value of the bending radius is not less than the multiple of the cable diameter: 15 times for three-core oil-immersed insulated cables and 25 times for single-core cables; the warpage of oil-immersed paper-insulated lead-coated cables is 30 times higher than 40 mm and 25 times lower than 40mm. Rubber insulated cable is 10 times.
The role of power cable shielding and grounding wire. The shielding layer is divided into inner shield and outer shield. The purpose of installing a ground wire in a power cable is to protect the cable from insulation breakdown or large fault currents passing through the core wire. The induced voltage of the metal sheath may cause insulation breakdown, arcing and burning of the metal sheath.

Therefore, the role of the outer sheath of the power cable is to protect the inner sheath from external influence and mechanical damage.
After the power cable has been used for a certain period of time, it needs to be checked regularly, so what problems should be paid attention to? Keep the machine clean and tidy. For example, some waste products generated in the production process should be concentrated and disposed of quickly. In particular, some oil stains, water or materials should not be placed at will. In addition, pay attention to whether there is abnormal sound or vibration during the operation of the machine, and regularly check and tighten the fasteners. If it is found that the lines of the old buildings are flooded or wet, especially the lines are in disrepair and aging, please ask an electrician to repair them immediately.
