Manufacturer's manufacturing reasons
The manufacturer's manufacturing reasons are divided into three types: cable main reasons, cable connection reasons and cable grounding system reasons according to different locations.
1) Cause of cable body manufacturing
Generally speaking, the problems that are prone to occur in the cable manufacturing process include insulation eccentricity, uneven thickness of insulation shield, impurities in the insulation, protrusions in the inner and outer shields, uneven crosslinking, moisture in the cable, poor sealing of the cable metal sheath, etc. Failure will occur during the completion test or just after moving in
2) Manufacturing reasons of cable connector
High-voltage cable connection used to use winding type, die-casting type, mold type and other types, but on-site production workload, in addition, due to the limitations of on-site conditions and production process, insulation tape layer is inevitable, so prone to problems. The styles commonly used in China are assembled and prefabricated.
The cable connector has a cable terminal connector and a cable intermediate connector. Regardless of the connector form, the failure of the cable connector generally occurs at the broken part of the cable insulation shield. Since this is a place where the electrical stress is concentrated, the causes of the cable connector failure due to manufacturing reasons include manufacturing defects of the stress cone body, problems of the insulating filler, oil leakage of the seal ring, and the like.
3) Cable grounding system
The cable grounding system includes cable grounding box, cable grounding protection box (with protective layer protector), cable cross junction box, protective layer protector and other parts. Generally, the main problems that are prone to occur are that the box is not well sealed, water ingress causes multi-point grounding, and the induced current of the metal protective layer is too large. In addition, the parameter selection of the protective film protector is unreasonable or the quality is poor. The zinc oxide crystal is unstable, which is easy to cause damage to the protective film protector.
Reasons for construction quality
Although in many cases, the high-voltage cable system due to the construction quality and failure, but the main reasons are the following.
1) The site conditions are relatively poor. When cables and connectors are manufactured in the factory, they have high requirements on the environment and process, but the temperature, humidity, and dust control on the construction site is poor.
2) During cable construction, small sliding marks will inevitably remain on the insulation surface, and semiconductor particles and sand particles on the emery cloth may also fall into the insulation. In addition, since the insulation is exposed to the air in the handicraft, moisture is sometimes inhaled in the insulation, which poses a danger to long-term safe driving.
3) The installation does not strictly follow the process construction and process regulations, and does not consider possible problems.
4) DC withstand voltage test is adopted for completion acceptance, which forms reverse electric field in the joint and leads to insulation damage. Caused by inadequate sealing treatment. The intermediate joint shall adopt the sealing structure of metal copper shell and PE or PVC insulation anti-corrosion layer to ensure the tightness of lead seal in site construction, which effectively ensures the sealing and waterproof performance of the joint.
Design reasons
Cable damage due to thermal expansion of the cable. When the cross-linked cable load is high, the core temperature rises, the cable is heated and expanded, the corner of the cable in the tunnel hits the bracket elevation, the cable creeping force becomes larger during long-term heavy load operation, and the bracket elevation squeezes the cable sheath and metal sheath.
